Making an Appointment and Payment Policy

MidWestVET accepts new clients by referral from your primary care veterinarian.  After you and your veterinarian decide to seek specialty care for your pet at MidWestVET, please call 402.614.9000 for an appointment.  Please be prepared to give us your veterinarian's name and phone number because we need to be in constant contact regarding your pet's care.  We encourage your veterinarian to contact one of our specialists directly prior to your appointment to discuss your pet's condition and previous treatment.

You will receive a written estimate at the time of your pet's initial examination at MidWestVET.  A deposit of 60% of the estimate is required at the time of admission and the remainder of the bill is due at discharge.  We accept cash, checks, Visa, MaterCard and Discover.

Take the L street exit off of I-80 and go east to 96th Street. Turn right (south) onto 96th Street and proceed two blocks to Mockingbird Dr. Turn right (west) onto Mockingbird Dr. and proceed approximately one block to 9706 Mockingbird Dr. and look for the MidWestVET sign.

From Council Bluffs or East Omaha
Take the 84th street exit off of I-80. Go south on 84th street to L Street. Turn right (west) onto L street and proceed to 96th street. Turn left (south) onto 96th Street and proceed two block to Mockingbird Dr. Turn right (west) onto Mockingbird Dr. and proceed approximately one block to 9706 Mockingbird Dr. and look for the MidWestVET sign.
